In this study, (50) clinical specimens were collected from patients suffering from tonsillitis from Al- Yarmouk teaching
hospital and Al-Karama hospital /Baghdad from 18, November , 2018 to 15, January, 2019, 50 isolates of
Staphylococcus aureus, were identified by different bacteriological assays that found 37 (74%) isolate was identify as
Staphylococcus aureus. The closing detection was completed by Vitek-2 system, that found only 30/37 (81%) isolate
was identify as Staphylococcus aureus . In addition virulence factors and antibiotic resistance genewas used such as
(ESP, tetO and mec). The research tested the antibiotic susceptibility primers of Staphylococcus aureus which take
part in a main role in pathogenicity .
