| Abstract:
|
The article deals with effects of ozone on viruses and bacteria, since its potent disinfecting effect, ozone is used for
disinfecting of water and air (ozonation) from bacteria, including pathogenic.The aim is to analyze mechanisms of
action of ozone on viruses and bacteria. Bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, anti-inflammatory, analgesic effects of ozone
are examined in the study. In addition, the article discusses the effects of ozone on activation of metabolism,
optimization of prooxidant and antioxidant systems, monoxygenasedetoxication liver system.
