Abstract: AIM: The work was initiated to analyze frequency of adverse events in the standard therapy compliant patients with ishaemic heart disease (IHD) early in treatment and during the next visit, and to compare the findings with the pretest probability values [2], ejection fraction (EF) [3] and the Duke Activity Status Index (DASI) [4]. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Data of 309 patients with IHD, according to Morisky- Green scale [5], 141 therapy compliant (45.6%) and 168 therapy non-compliant patients (54.3%)(mean age 62.8±7.3 years) among them were analyzed. 74 (52.5%), 53 (37.6%) and 134 (95%) patients had the documented myocardial infarction, diabetes mellitus and arterial hypertension, respectively. All the patients were divided into 3 groups. 83 compliant and 61 non-compliant patients needing no hospitalization within previous 12 months before the 2nd visit were included into 1st group. Rehospitalized within previous 12 months, 47 compliant and 88 non-compliant patients comprised the 2nd one. 11 compliant and 18 non-compliant deceased patients were included into the 3rd group. The software in C/C++ language was used to process data and calculate M, SD and Pearson correlation coefficient by standard statistical approaches.
