Myristica Fragrans (Nutmeg) is one of the most important spices . MF was well-known for its aroma and therapeutic
action . In India, Myristica Fragrans (MF) was commonly said to be Jatiphal, Jathikai and Javitri. It belongs to the family
myristaceae . Myristica fragrans was used in a lot of industrial applications such as liqueurs, soap production and
cosmetics. MF was reported for its improving memory, aphrosidiac ,antioxidant , anti- inflammatory , anticollagenolytic
properties . In our study, in MF was found to possess 66.7% polyphenolic content.
