The virus switch from latency state to the lytic cycle lead to an increase incidence B malignancies when failure the
immune system to control on B cells after reactivation of the virus. The aimed of this research is determination the
seroprevalence of EBV and evaluate the role of EBV that may be related to chronic diseases by diagnosis of EBV VCA IgG,
EBV VCA IgM in serum patients with EBV and detect the role of regulatory T cells in the regulation of immune response in
positive EBV patient by measurement gene expression of transcription factor of FOXP3. The research consists of 79
samples infected with EBV and divided into 2 groups (31 Hodgkin lymphoma, 48 symptoms) and 41 healthy divided into 2
groups (24 seropositive and 17 control) after diagnosis of EBV VCA IgG, EBV VCA IgM by using ELISA assay. The results
obtained that, The level of IgM was high prevalence in Symptoms group at a percentage (6.25%) while the absence of this
antibody in other 3 groups at a rate (0.0%). as well as the elevated level of IgG in Seropositive at a rate (58.53%) while
decline this antibody in symptoms group at ratio (41.66%). also, the mean of Foxp3 significantly increased in Hodgkin
lymphoma (28.95±12.91) and insymptoms group(22.23±10.34)compared with other two groups.
