Currently, the problem of overweight and severe forms of obesity of adults and children is alarming globally. The main
signs of overweight and obesity are violations of proper and rational nutrition, excessive consumption of foods high in
fat, sweets, overeating. Given paper reviews the dietary low fat meat products that should be included in diet of
overweight and obese people. Different recipes and technology of pate and sausage products with low fat content
and high functional and biological value are presented.
